From there, you’ll share your content for editorial review, which typically takes two to three weeks.
Once your manuscript has been reviewed, we’ll share the publishing agreement and cost details with you. You can trust us to take care of the rest, handling the final publishing steps and printing of copies with precision and care.
After your book is published, you have the freedom to choose whether you’d like to sell it exclusively through Booksdada or through other online or offline bookstores as well. Who Owns the Intellectual Rights of the book?
We respect authors and value their work. The intellectual rights of the book remain with the author in self-publishing model. The names “Booksdada”,”New Kamal book Depot” & “Ujala Publishers” only holds the right to publish, sell and distribute the agreed edition of the book.
Does Booksdada market the books?
Book publishing is a process which is incomplete even after printing of copies if there is no marketing involve. Booksdada helps author market her/his book with bookstores and digitally over social media. However, the marketing strategy depends upon the publishing model.
2. Print-On-Demand (No MOQ)
Print-on-Demand (POD) is a popular way of publishing a book with no copies printed in advance. Your book gets published and goes on our website for online sale. Customer can place order all over the country, once order is confirmed, we print the copy(s) and dispatch. The production and dispatch process may takes two to four working days at max. Author gets his/her royalty as decided in the agreement.
Booksdada may print a few copies for its own record or offline display, with the quantity of 10 or around.
What is the minimum number of copies I can get published with Booksdada?
At Booksdada, you can get published a minimum of one copy under the POD service. However, in the beginning, the author has to buy first thirty copies or generate equivalent pre-orders. There is no restriction of minimum copies after that.
How much royalty do we offer?
We understand that royalty division is an important aspect for authors, and we strive to ensure fairness and transparency in our models. Standard Format for Manuscript & Cover Submission
The manuscript can be submitted in MS Word format. If it is ready to print, it can also be submitted in the PDF format. The specifics are as follow:
– Document Size: 5.5″ x 8.5″ or 5” x 8” (w x h in inches)
– Margins: 0.75″ from four sides (size in inches)
– If images are used, the resolution should be 300dpi.
The book cover can be submitted as PDF, PSD (Photoshop file), or any other editable format with the specifications below:
– Color Scheme: CMYK
– Resolution: 300dpi
– Size: 5.5″ x 8.5″ (single side, w x h in Inches)
– Bleed Area: 0.5″ from four sides.
